RFK Jr. declares plan to free federal health agencies from Big Pharma
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has laid out his plans
to free federal health agencies from the "smothering cloud of corporate capture" and restore them to their foundational commitment to evidence-based science and public welfare.
On Nov. 15, President-elect Donald Trump officially nominated Kennedy, the founder of Children's Health Defense, a non-profit organization that seeks to end childhood health epidemics by eliminating toxic exposure, as secretary of the
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
"For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation and disinformation when it comes to Public Health," Trump posted on X. "The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country."
"Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!" Trump concluded.
In response, Kennedy posted on X his vision to "Make America Healthy Again."
"We have a generational opportunity to bring together the greatest minds in science, medicine, industry, and government to put an end to the chronic disease epidemic," Kennedy wrote. "I look forward to working with the more than 80,000 employees at HHS to free the agencies from the smothering cloud of corporate capture so they can pursue their mission to make Americans once again the healthiest people on Earth." "Together we will clean up corruption, stop the revolving door between industry and government and return our health agencies to their rich tradition of gold-standard, evidence-based science," continued Kennedy. "I will provide Americans with transparency and access to all the data so they can make informed choices for themselves and their families."
Kennedy has specifically accused the pharmaceutical industry of suppressing affordable and effective treatments such as ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine and nutraceuticals in favor of more profitable options.
"
FDA's war on public health is about to end. This includes its aggressive suppression of psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelating compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise, nutraceuticals and anything else that advances human health and can't be patented by Pharma. If you work for the FDA and are part of this corrupt system, I have two messages for you: 1. Preserve your records and 2. Pack your bags," Kennedy wrote in another post on X.
Trump would give Kennedy power over health-related initiatives
Aside from nominating Kennedy as HHS secretary, Trump also announced a few days before his victory that he is open to allowing Kennedy
to more thoroughly scrutinize the safety of vaccines.
Kennedy, who has long advocated against certain vaccines, claimed that 60 percent of Americans today have chronic health issues, compared to just six percent when his uncle, John F. Kennedy, was president. He also claimed that nearly 77 percent of American boys are now ineligible for military service due to a surge in chronic health conditions and a significant rise in childhood diabetes, with one in three children classified as diabetic or pre-diabetic.
Autism rates have also dramatically increased, climbing from one in 10,000 during Kennedy's generation to one in 34 children today. Kennedy connected all these alarming health trends to the vaccines commonly administered to children.
Trump considered all this stance and when asked in an interview with
NBC News on Nov. 3 about Kennedy and his perspective on vaccines, he said: "Well, I'm going to talk to [Kennedy] and talk to other people and I'll make a decision, but he's a very talented guy and has strong views."
